This Privacy Policy explains how Lupo Przemysław Białasik ("we", "us", "Licensor") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use FreelGo software.

2.1 Data you provide

• Email address — required for trial activation and license management

2.2 Data collected automatically

• Device identifier (hardware-based hash) — used for license activation and device limit enforcement
• Operating system version — used for compatibility verification
• Application version — used for update notifications

2.3 Data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect analytics or usage statistics
• We do not track your activity within the application
• We do not access your project files or work data
• Application logs stored locally on your device contain only anonymized data (email addresses and file paths are masked)

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data for the following purposes:

• License activation and verification — Legal basis: Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
• Device limit enforcement — Legal basis: Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
• Sending license-related communications — Legal basis: Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
• Fraud prevention — Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

4. Data Sharing

4.1 Payment Processor

When you purchase a license, your payment is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as the Merchant of Record. Paddle collects payment information directly and is an independent data controller for that data. See Paddle's Privacy Policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy.

4.2 Hosting Provider

Our licensing server is hosted by Zenbox (zenbox.pl), a Polish hosting provider. Data is stored on servers located in the European Union.

4.3 No Other Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use any analytics services.

5. Data Retention

• Trial user data: Retained for 12 months after trial expiration, then deleted
• Licensed user data: Retained for the duration of the license plus 3 years for legal compliance
• After deletion requests: Data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

• Right of access — Request a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification — Correct inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to restriction — Limit how we use your data
• Right to data portability — Receive your data in a machine-readable format

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission
• Secure password hashing for any stored credentials
• Regular security updates to our systems
• Access controls limiting who can view personal data
• Device identifiers are stored as one-way hashes

8. International Transfers

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Poland). We do not transfer your personal data outside the EEA.

Paddle, as an independent controller, may transfer data internationally in accordance with their own privacy policy and applicable safeguards.

9. Support Communication

When you contact us via email for support, we may store your correspondence (including your email address and any information you provide) for the purpose of resolving technical issues and improving our service.

Support correspondence is retained for 2 years after the last communication, unless you request earlier deletion.

10. Children's Privacy

FreelGo is not intended for use by children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last updated" date.

For significant changes, we will notify users via email or through the application.
